Benoit is the author of OpenTSDB, the open-source, highly scalable,
distributed, monitoring system that runs on top of HBase, and
asynchbase, the high-performance, multithreaded, non-blocking, HBase
client. After having worked on some of Google’s largest distributed
serving systems, he got into Hadoop and HBase in ’09 at StumbleUpon,
where he led numerous production infrastructure projects with a small
but highly talented team. He’s now working on network extensibility,
SDN, and Hadoop/HBase integration at Arista Networks, the main
challenger for high-density datacenter network switches.
