When and where is HBaseCon 2012?
HBaseCon 2012 takes place Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at The InterContinental San Francisco Hotel in San Francisco. The conference will be one full day of general sessions in the morning, breakout sessions in the afternoon and networking opportunities.
For those interested in Cloudera’s training for Apache HBase, an additional two-day training class will be offered after the conference on May 23-24, 2012.

How do I register?

What is the conference substitution and cancellation policy?
Substitutions: We will accept substitutions as long as they are received by 5:00pm PT on May 11, 2012 via email to hbasecon@cloudera.com.
Cancellations: A refund, minus a $25 processing fee, will be given for all written cancellations made by 5:00pm PT on April 26, 2012 via email to hbasecon@cloudera.com. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after April 26, 2012.
How much does it cost to attend the conference?
Early Bird registration: $195 (until April 6, 2012)
Standard registration: $295
Cloudera Training for Apache HBase is offered at an additional cost.
When should I plan to arrive and depart?
Registration will be open on Tuesday, May 22 beginning at 7:30am.
The Networking Breakfast will also open at 8:00am.
The first session will start at 9:00am on Tuesday, May 22.
The Networking Reception ends at 8:00pm.

Will I receive a free ebook?
Upon check-in on the day of the conference, all attendees will receive a voucher for a free ebook of HBase: The Definitive Guide, by author Lars George. Courtesy of O’Reilly Media.
How do I book a hotel room?
HBaseCon has not contracted with the InterContinental for hotel sleeping rooms. If you need a sleeping room for the conference you can contact the hotel directly at 1-888-811-4273 to check their availability or contact your company travel professionals to find a hotel that meets your needs.
