Call for Speakers

Deadline is February 29th!
Participate in the industry’s first Apache HBase conference by submitting a proposal for a presentation. The objectives of the conference are to educate new and experienced HBase developers and to encourage growth in the HBase community.

Apache HBase community members, ecosystem developers, practitioners and experts in operationalizing HBase are encouraged to share developments and best practices. We are seeking a variety of presentations including case studies, demos, panels and interactive discussions that cover your real-world experience and the impact on your organization. Presentation time slots are 50 minutes in length including Q&A.

  • No more than 150 words, in paragraph form, and no bullets.

NOTIFICATION

Each submission will be reviewed by the HBaseCon program committee which will select the abstracts best suited to the conference objectives. You will be notified via email by Monday, March 12, 2012 if your abstract is accepted. Upon notification of acceptance, you will be asked to sign a speaker agreement contract and comply with all guidelines. All presentations (with permission) will be published online. Final presentations are due by May 14, 2012.

If your presentation is accepted, one speaker will receive a complimentary registration to HBaseCon 2012.
